Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with food handling regulations
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients, and provide excellent customer service
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations
• Support food preparation and food service tasks, including basic food handling and café setup
• Keep the workspace organized, restock supplies, and ensure the café environment remains inviting and hygienic

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a fast-paced café or food industry setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in retail or food service environments that require multitasking and quick thinking

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
