Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using professional espresso machines such as Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; process payments efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Supervise daily shift operations, including supervising staff, managing customer flow, and ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Train new team members on food handling, beverage preparation, customer service protocols, and safety procedures.
- Oversee food safety compliance, sanitation standards, and kitchen cleanliness to uphold health regulations.
- Support management with budgeting tasks, staff scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a productive team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or beverage service within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques; prior kitchen management experience is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with inventory control, training & development of staff, and restaurant management practices.
- Hospitality industry background with casual dining or café experience is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
