Location: 1458 Marine Ave, Gardena, CA 90247
Pay & Housing: $18-$25 per hour 1 bed/ 1bath Apartment (Employee rent: $895/month)
Schedule: Full-Time | Non-Exempt


About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced District Property Manager to oversee multiple apartment communities across Gardena, CA. This leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring onsite teams, and takes pride in keeping properties compliant, efficient, and resident-focused. Frequent travel between sites is required.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead operations across multiple properties, ensuring deadlines and compliance are met
  • Oversee deposit accounting and ensure check disbursements meet 21-day legal timelines
  • Conduct quarterly file audits and property inspections to ensure adherence to company standards
  • Handle resident relations, ledgers, and notices professionally and promptly
  • Supervise maintenance coordination and special projects across properties
  • Perform leasing and pre-leasing duties when assigned
  • Monitor operating and capital budgets; approve expenditures within budget guidelines
  • Act as liaison between ownership and company leadership
  • Serve as interim property manager during vacancies

Requirements

  • 3 years of apartment or multifamily property management experience
  • 1 year of leadership or staff supervision experience
  • Strong knowledge of California property management laws and Fair Housing
  • Proficiency in Yardi software (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and delegation abilities
  • Reliable transportation for multi-site travel
