How Will You Shine?

As a valued and successful Food and Beverage Manager you will be required to:

  • Manage and lead a professional, effective, and efficient food and beverage team to provide service to the resorts’ guests.
  • Maintain work areas ensuring all are clean and organized.
  • Assist to select, train, supervise, develop, perform appraisals, and counsel employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage a diverse workforce that fluctuates in number due to seasonality.
  • Communicate with the Director on all matters relating to all F&B concerns.
  • Ensures consistency of product and service.
  • Exhibit menu knowledge and ability to change rapidly.
  • Oversee set up of dining and service areas.
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the director.
  • Attend all required meetings.
  • Assume any roles in the absence of another employee (assistant, cook, host, cashier, server, busser, dishwasher, etc.)
  • Manages inventory levels including food, liquor, linens, china and glassware, cleaning products, etc.

Required Abilities:

  • Able to function in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Ability to learn specific POS systems.
  • Can prioritize and delegate when appropriate.
  • Knowledge of inventories, scheduling, and productivity.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess or have the ability to attain SC food handler card.
  • Two years restaurant management/supervisor experience is preferred.
  • Culinary experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of walking or standing on cement, tile, asphalt, and/or carpet.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. pounds at times.
