Duties
- Lead and manage all store activities, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service to meet or exceed business goals
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance
- Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory management to optimize stock levels and product availability
- Implement effective merchandising and promotional strategies to attract customers and boost sales
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping, cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) system management, and financial recordkeeping
- Foster a positive work environment through employee orientation, managerial communication, and leadership that encourages teamwork and accountability
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food and beverage industry, including supervising teams in sales environments
- Strong skills in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and employee orientation
- Extensive experience with POS systems, inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated leadership in retail store management with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Knowledge of retail math, basic bookkeeping, payroll processing, and operational management practices
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in bar and restaurant or similar retail settings is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and deliver excellent customer service
- Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus; experience in managing retail sales teams is essential
