Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Infusion Nurse to join our growing BWMI team. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working independently in a relaxed, patient-first environment and values building relationships with patients over time.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV infusion therapies (including biologics, hydration, and specialty medications)
- Monitor patients throughout infusion and manage any adverse reactions
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
- Coordinate with providers and clinical team on patient care
- Ensure all infusion protocols and safety procedures are followed
- Maintain clean and organized infusion space
- Flexible availability to cover infusion shifts during weekdays
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Nebraska
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- IV infusion experience strongly preferred
- For LPN candidates:
- Must have completed an approved practical nursing program that includes IV therapy training, or have documented IV certification/competency in accordance with Nebraska scope-of-practice regulations
- Demonstrated competency in IV insertion and infusion administration
- Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Current CPR certification required
