Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health standards and client expectations
• Clean floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
• Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to ensure optimal results
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, fixtures, windows, and furniture
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary to maintain the overall appearance of properties
• Support housekeeping management by following schedules, managing time effectively, and ensuring all tasks are completed promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of cleaning detergents, equipment, and surface sanitation techniques
• Expertise in floor cleaning methods including carpet cleaning and floor care maintenance
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple sites
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during deep cleans or when handling bulky items
• Outstanding customer service skills with clear client communication abilities
• Familiarity with outdoor work requirements for property upkeep or landscaping support
• Knowledge of housekeeper management practices for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in residential settings
• Experience with hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality roles is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
