Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Clean floors using appropriate methods such as floor care equipment, carpet cleaning tools, and manual techniques.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
• Use cleaning detergents and supplies safely while adhering to manufacturer instructions and safety protocols.
• Manage the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and janitorial tools with proper manual handling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas by disinfecting and sanitizing regularly.
• Communicate effectively with clients or team members to address specific cleaning requests or concerns.
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including patio or balcony cleaning or trash removal from exterior areas.
• Prioritize tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards for various surfaces and materials.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and hand tools.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or moving furniture during deep cleans.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on dusting, surface sanitation, and floor care.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or team members.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform manual tasks involving bending or lifting heavy objects.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or residential cleaning is a plus; outdoor work experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and detergents along with proper handling procedures.
• Time management skills that enable prioritization of multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.56 per hour
