Position OverviewThe Business Analyst (Analyst III) serves as a senior-level professional providing advanced analytical, technical, and strategic expertise in support of federal programs and organizational priorities. Operating with minimal supervision, this role designs and executes complex analytical projects that require a deep understanding of data systems, performance metrics, and process optimization. The analyst applies advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate program efficiency, identify trends, and develop actionable insights that inform decision-making at senior levels. Key ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise data initiatives by developing, optimizing, and maintaining advanced analytical models, dashboards, and visualization tools that deliver actionable insights and drive mission performance.Manage full-cycle analytical projects; from data collection and validation to interpretation, reporting, and implementation, ensuring results directly inform executive-level decision-making and program alignment.Conduct root cause analyses, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to identify inefficiencies and deliver strategic recommendations that enhance business processes and resource utilization.Oversee budget and contract analytics through financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance tracking to assess obligation rates, spending efficiency, and program execution.Review and evaluate procurement and interagency agreement documentation, including task orders, funding requests, and contract modifications, to ensure compliance, fiscal integrity, and alignment with program goals.Coordinate across client, contractor, and interagency partners to optimize data sharing, maintain information accuracy, and ensure timely execution of program deliverables.Conduct data-driven research and analysis to inform program planning, policy development, and performance measurement frameworks.Work directly with CEO to assist in managing financials, assisting with travel arrangements/approvals.Coordinate meeting schedules as needed QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supporting a federal program, contract, or project office.Deep understanding of federal workflows, task protocols, and documentation requirements enabling efficient program execution and adherence to agency standards.Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality deliverables for government review.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); with practical experience with SharePoint, Google Workspace, and related collaboration tools to streamline data management, reporting and stakeholder communication.Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and support leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one) preferred.
