The QA/QC Specialist performs real-time analysis and review of extensive documentation required by federal regulations for implementing a direct incentive payment program.
Job Duties
- Manages intake of funding requests and performs a timely review of supporting documentation related to federal and state grant program claims
- Uses standardized QA/QC checklists and tools for project files
- Conducts routine and targeted file reviews to verify completeness, consistency, and compliance with program requirements
- Documents QA/QC review results, including findings observations and recommendations, and track them to resolution
- Utilizes technology to ensure transparency and accountability
- Assists in preparation of real-time status reports regarding QA/QC reviews
- Understands internal control framework to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse
- Understands and assists in responding to state and federal oversight and monitoring activities
- Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, preferred
Experience:
- One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in a professional office setting, required
License/Certifications:

- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), required
