As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care
- Operate POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment
Skills
- Previous barista or coffee experience preferred, with knowledge of beverage preparation techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations
- Experience in the food industry or food service is advantageous
- Proficiency in operating POS systems
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
