Position Overview
The Sales Enablement Specialist is an entry-level role responsible for providing operational, analytical, and coordination support to the Sales organization. This position serves as the backbone of a newly established Sales Enablement function and directly supports Broker Distribution and Business Development teams.
The role focuses on RFP and proposal coordination, Salesforce pipeline administration, sales communications, meeting and event support, and market intelligence gathering. This role will report to the Director, Sales Enablement
Essential Elements
RFP & Proposal Support
- Triage, track, and coordinate RFPs, proposals, and routine broker requests
- Partner with underwriting, compliance, product, and marketing teams to assemble responses
- Maintain and update RFP response libraries for life, health, and accident products
Salesforce & CRM Administration
- Support day-to-day Salesforce usage including data hygiene, opportunity updates, and reporting accuracy
- Build and maintain pipeline, activity, and win/loss reports and dashboards
- Assist with Salesforce user adoption, enhancements, and basic training
Sales Communications & Calendar Management
- Coordinate standardized sales communications such as newsletters, product updates, and rate notifications
- Maintain sales calendars aligned to renewals, enrollments, and product launches
Meeting & Event Coordination
- Prepare agendas, materials, and follow-up documentation for sales meetings and broker sessions
- Support logistics for conferences, industry events, sponsorships, and broker education programs
Market Intelligence & Broker Feedback
- Collect and organize broker feedback to support market insights and service improvements
- Assist with competitive summaries and sales enablement materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Preferred areas: Business, Marketing, Communications, Risk Management, or related fields
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, marketing coordination, or customer-facing roles
- Insurance or financial services experience preferred, but not required
Technical & Professional Skills
- Salesforce experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to learn new sales tools and AI-assisted workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities
Insurance Knowledge (Preferred)
- Exposure to group benefits, life, health, accident, or supplemental products
- Interest in broker distribution models
- Willingness to pursue insurance or enablement certifications
Travel
- Some travel required.
Salary : $52,000 - $64,000
