We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across an assigned portfolio of accounts, ensuring consistent quality and strong client relationships.
What You'll Do
As an Area Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of multiple commercial cleaning accounts. You'll manage and support frontline cleaning staff, conduct regular quality inspections, and serve as the primary point of contact for your clients. This role requires someone who can balance people management with operational problem-solving — someone who takes ownership of their territory and holds themselves and their teams to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing, training, and supporting cleaning staff across assigned accounts
- Conducting routine site inspections and quality control audits
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication
- Addressing client concerns and resolving service issues quickly
- Ensuring proper staffing levels and coordinating schedule coverage
- Onboarding new accounts and overseeing 30-day launch processes for new sites
- Tracking supply and equipment needs across your locations
- Enforcing company standards, safety protocols, and site-specific procedures
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, or a related field (supervisory experience strongly preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
- Excellent communication skills — both with clients and frontline employees
- Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities across different locations
- Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (travel between sites required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
