BCI is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager with 8-10 years experience. You will lead delivery planning, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence across complex, distributed programs. This role partners closely with senior leadership to drive execution, improve processes, and ensure alignment with business and product outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Program Delivery & Planning
- Collaborate with VPs, Directors, and Development Managers to develop and execute delivery plans, including dependency mapping, critical path analysis, and capacity management.
- Facilitate structured RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) processes to ensure visibility, ownership, and resolution.
- Support governance frameworks for change management, releases, and cross-team dependencies.
- Define and monitor program KPIs, aligning delivery metrics with business outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes, tools, and workflows.
- Nice to have experience managing AI or ML development projects — strong plus given the team’s current AI initiatives
Risk & Dependency Management
- Lead end-to-end program-level risk and dependency management, maintaining an up-to-date register.
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, technical, resourcing, and third-party risks.
- Facilitate cross-functional forums to resolve dependencies and remove blockers efficiently.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams and organizational boundaries.
- Develop executive-level reporting and portfolio health insights.
- Promote transparent and inclusive communication across geographically distributed teams.
Integration & Governance
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools and workflows into delivery processes.
- Lead pilots and establish standards for AI adoption within the PMO.
- Ensure safe, effective, and compliant use of AI technologies.
Technical Excellence & Engineering Operations
- Support technical excellence initiatives including code quality, security, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Enhance engineering operations practices such as incident management, release controls, and environment readiness.
Product Operations
- Partner with Product and Project Managers to maintain accurate, prioritized, and actionable roadmaps.
- Establish standards for backlog and roadmap quality, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Implement governance practices for intake, prioritization, and lifecycle management.
- Improve the quality of product artifacts such as epics, user stories, and release plans.
PMO Community & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the PMO community by sharing best practices, templates, and innovations.
- Lead improvements in processes, tools, and delivery methodologies.
- Participate in retrospectives and knowledge-sharing initiatives to drive organizational learning.
People & Capability Development
- Mentor and coach Project Managers on planning, facilitation, and risk management.
- Lead workshops, innovation sessions, and design thinking initiatives.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and capability development.
