BCI is looking to a fast-learning associate level Business Analyst for a hybrid role with our direct client. Will be a 6 month contract to start. Required to be in the client office located in Jersey City, NJ 2 days a week. You will be involved in traditional BA duties as well as handling some product management responsibilities. Will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with other company departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Project Overview
Rewriting the UI for an old internal system involving insurance policies and contractual information. Will be lots of enhancements, taking requirements from users and following Agile methodology to help developers build it out. Will use some AI tools to build story boards to keep up with developers. Will involve requirements gathering / building story boards for internal requirements. Will be using JIRA and the collaborative workspace tool Confluence. Client is presently moving away from MS Office tools.
Responsibilities & Qualifications include:
• Defining the product strategy and roadmap.
• Delivering features.
• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
• Manage pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
• Demonstrated success defining and launching products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Using JIRA & Confluence
• Undergraduate degree. Advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent teamwork skills
• 2-3 yrs of proven industry experience
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Must be a fast learner and have the ability to start ASAP
