A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Technology Transactions Associate to join its high-performing Intellectual Property and Commercial Transactions group in San Francisco, California. Key Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate a wide range of intellectual property and commercial agreements, including licensing, development, distribution, and strategic partnering contracts.

• Advise clients on IP considerations in mergers and acquisitions, financings, and public offerings.

• Counsel technology clients on product development, data usage, and commercialization strategies.

• Work directly with emerging growth companies and global corporations in sectors like software, AI, fintech, biotech, and life sciences.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive business and legal solutions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience handling intellectual property and technology transactions.

• Strong understanding of IP licensing, software, data, and technology commercialization.

• Excellent academic credentials and superior analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.

• Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility to waive in).

• A technical or science background is preferred but not required.
