Duties
• Handle sophisticated commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions from initial negotiations through closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, sale agreements, commercial leases, amendments, and related transactional documents.
• Represent landlords, tenants, developers, investors, and business entities in commercial leasing matters.
• Conduct legal due diligence involving title, surveys, easements, zoning issues, and property-related risks.
• Advise clients regarding commercial and residential real estate transactions and strategic business objectives.
• Prepare closing documents and coordinate successful transaction closings.
• Analyze legal issues affecting ownership, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions of commercial real estate.
• Collaborate with clients and legal professionals to develop practical and efficient transaction strategies.
• Maintain direct communication with clients regarding transaction status, legal risks, and negotiation strategies.
• Manage multiple real estate transactions while maintaining exceptional client service and meeting critical deadlines.
• Stay informed regarding developments in California real estate law affecting commercial transactions.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's commercial real estate practice.

Requirements
• 5–8 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
• Significant experience handling commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions.
• Strong commercial leasing experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of transactional real estate law.
• Active admission to practice law in California.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
