Job Overview
A law firm seeks a motivated Business Litigation Attorney to join its practice in Houston, TX. This role offers hybrid and remote flexibility, allowing the attorney to engage in complex commercial disputes and cross-border challenges with a diverse client base.
Duties
- Represent clients in state and federal courts.
- Handle contract, IP, international, cannabis, and business-tort disputes.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, and trial preparation.
- Advise clients on litigation strategy and risk management.
- Collaborate with colleagues across offices and international networks.
- Engage in business development and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements
- 7 years of litigation experience focused on commercial or business disputes.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Admission to the TX State Bar.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working in a team environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in contributing to the firm's growth.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Admission to the TX State Bar.
