What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at BCForward?
Schedule and Worksite Details:
- Days: Monday - Friday, weekends as needed
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Assignment Type: Covering medical leave
Interview Process:
Candidates will visit the plant to meet with supervisors. A plant tour will follow for selected candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and deliver materials within or near the worksite using a forklift or other equipment.
- Count and weigh materials or containers and record information on forms and logs.
- Fill orders, package goods, load trucks, and move stock within the warehouse.
- Transport materials to and from production areas safely and efficiently.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including sweeping floors and cleaning spills or product messes.
- Organize inventory and storage areas to support efficient operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent punctuality and reliable attendance.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to support varying tasks and occasional weekend needs.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate recordkeeping.
- General knowledge of safety and environmental procedures with the ability to follow them.
- Ability to lift 51 lbs as needed.
