Job Title: Mobile Deployment TechnicianLocation: New Hyde Park, NY 11042Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMDuration: 09 Months ContractPay Rate: $35.52/hour (W2)Role OverviewThis position will support mobile device deployments in preparation for Epic Wave 2, including Rover device rollouts across multiple hospital locations. Responsibilities include deploying mobile phones in designated hospital areas, conducting rounding deployments within hospital units, setting up shared device docks, and demonstrating charging cabinets while providing end-user education.The role also provides first-line technical support for mobile device users and assists with mobile device depot operations, including device setup, troubleshooting, inventory management, and shipping.Key ResponsibilitiesMobile Deployment & User SupportSupport Rover mobile device deployments across hospital locations as part of Epic Wave 2 implementation.Deploy mobile phones in designated areas and conduct rounding deployments across hospital units.Set up and configure shared device docks and charging cabinets, providing demonstrations and user education.Provide first-line end-user support for mobile device issues including connectivity, email configuration, app access, and basic troubleshooting via walk-up support, phone, and ticketing systems.Assist users with initial device setup and onboarding, including configuration of email, VPN, and enterprise applications.Device Management & OperationsEnroll and configure devices in the MDM/UEM platform following established procedures and escalate complex issues when needed.Receive, unbox, and inventory mobile devices; perform device kitting, imaging, and configuration according to standard builds.Process returned devices, perform secure data wipes, and prepare devices for redeployment or disposal.Maintain accurate device inventory records within asset management systems.Package and ship devices to end users and remote locations following established processes.General SupportPerform device configuration and operational tasks under direct supervision.Complete routine assignments and assist with other related technical support tasks as needed.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required1–2 years of relevant technical or IT support experienceBasic familiarity with mobile devices such as iOS and Android preferredAdditional NotesThis is an on-site mobile role requiring travel between multiple hospitals.No fixed work location; the role involves supporting deployments across different healthcare facilities.Company DescriptionAbout BCforward:Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCforward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
