Position: Senior Linux Platform Engineer (VMware-focused)
Core Technologies & Responsibilities
VMware – Primary platform / deep experience required
Packer – Heavy usage for automated creation of "Golden" OS images
Specifically building hardened, secure Linux images
Supported platforms: RHEL 7, 8, and 9
Environments: Azure, AWS, and private cloud (on-prem VMware)
Ansible – Used for configuration management and automation
Strong Linux Administration (RHEL-focused)
Python scripting / automation
Firewalls (configuration and management)
SELinux – Significant hands-on experience required (hardening, policy management, troubleshooting)
