BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Bioprocess Technician I Job in Oceanside, CA
Title: Bioprocess Technician I / Manufacturing Technician (Biotech)
Location: Oceanside, CA (Onsite)
Client: Roche Diagnostics
Pay Rate: $22/hr (W2)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Start: Immediate (1–2 Weeks)
Job Summary:
Seeking a Manufacturing/Bioprocess Technician to support production in a cGMP-regulated biotech environment. The role involves operating automated equipment, preparing materials, and supporting upstream/downstream manufacturing processes while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, clean, and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Support cell culture, purification, and material prep activities
- Follow SOPs, cGMP, and safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and batch records
- Perform equipment sterilization and environmental monitoring
- Assist in production processes and troubleshoot basic issues
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (Life Sciences/Biotech preferred)
- Basic computer skills (MS Office/Google tools)
- Ability to work in cleanroom environment (PPE required)
- Comfortable standing long hours, lifting up to 25 lbs
- Flexible to work day/swing/night shifts
Additional Info:
- Training: 3–4 weeks (Mon–Fri, Day shift)
- Must be open to rotating shifts and overtime
