This position is ideal for a Journeyman Electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving complex electrical issues, working directly with customers, and performing a variety of service, maintenance, and installation work in commercial and industrial environments.

Compensation Range: $34 USD - $46 USD

Bopat Electric is hiring experienced Journeyman Service Electricians to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install commercial electrical systems.
This position is ideal for a Journeyman Electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving complex electrical issues, working directly with customers, and performing a variety of service, maintenance, and installation work in commercial and industrial environments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipment
- Install, repair, and replace electrical equipment, panels, breakers, lighting, controls, switchgear, and power distribution systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams
- Perform commercial electrical service work while identifying issues and recommending effective solutions
- Follow all safety regulations, NEC standards, and company guidelines
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members while completing service calls efficiently and safely
- Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent Journeyman License from a reciprocating state
- 5 years of commercial electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing, repairing, and installing commercial electrical systems
- Knowledge of conduit, switchgear, panelboards, power distribution, lighting, motor controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams
- Strong understanding of NEC requirements and electrical safety practices
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license
