This position can be filled in either our Midland, TX or Houston, TX offices.


The Director of Business Development – Gas Processing is a sales position for BCCK Holding that is responsible for three entities: NG Resources, NG Field Construction and eventually BCCK Engineering. Duties include developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.

  • Implements and executes effective sales policies and practices
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with sales coordinator and others on the sales team
  • Develops, recommends and implements sales strategies for improvement and effectiveness based on market research and competitor analyses
  • Builds, develops, manages and follows-up on sales and service initiatives with all clients – past, present and future
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This position is responsible for directing the Sales Coordinator and other assigned employees.


Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment for the most part. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Visits to project sites require safety training, certification, and appropriate clothing. This position also requires frequent meetings in client offices, attending industry conferences and visiting remote locations where company work is being performed or potential work is being discussed.


Physical Demand

This role requires the ability to perform tasks in various work environments, including office settings, client sites, and fabrication or construction locations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to sit, stand, walk, and move for extended periods. The role may also involve occasional bending, kneeling, reaching, and carrying or lifting objects up to 25 pounds. Clear vision (including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision), depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are necessary for tasks such as reading documents, operating a computer, and conducting site visits. The employee must also be able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.


Travel

This position requires travel within the U.S.


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8-10 years of related industry experience
  • Contracts and negotiation experience


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree – Engineering or Business
  • 15 plus years of related industry experience
