Job Overview

This role supports the Guest Experience team to create authentic and memorable experiences for our guests that distinguish us from other hotels. We prioritise our guests in every aspect of their journey with us. Those who are passionate about meeting new people, making a spontaneous impression, and think out of the box will enjoy this role.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome to the core of what being a Guest Experience Overnight Host is all about!

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:

• Organizes, confirms, processes, and conducts all guest check-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
• Greets guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Uses a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understands requests, responds with appropriate actions and provides accurate information such as outlet hours and local attractions
• Runs and reviews daily reports/logs
• Responsible for all aspects of the night audit process such as, but not limited to: credit card and cash consolidation, actioning credit limit report, settling all hotel house accounts, audit all restaurant and bar receipts, reviewing open folios and settling, and reviewing adjustment report to ensure proper adjustments have been made
• Handle all guest complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner

Requirements

Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

• Minimum 1-year relevant experience at a comparable quality property
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, outgoing and people orientated. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. 

The Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):

• Used HMS, HotSOS, REX systems in the past
• Knowledge of the local area, roadways, and services
• Speaks more than one language
