Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables, buffet promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety protocols
- Support the kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and trash removal in accordance with health standards
- Handle manual lifting of trays, dishes, and supplies using safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
- Support guest services by providing friendly in-person assistance and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food running, serving, and hospitality principles is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform manual tasks efficiently, and work in a fast-paced environment
