Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our Compliance technology organization and lead the transformation and implementation of a critical batch processing platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL Informatica, Oracle, and Unix shell scripting and a proven ability to deliver scalable, performant data solutions in Agile environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and implementation of batch processing within Compliance tech.
- Gather and refine requirements with users and stakeholders in an Agile setting.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.2.
- Develop Unix shell scripts to automate and orchestrate batch processes.
- Engineer scalable database solutions for data warehousing and OLTP workloads.
- Write and tune PL/SQL, stored procedures, and queries for Oracle 19c.
- Act as a hands-on architect and developer to drive design initiatives and code quality.
- Collaborate across teams and levels, communicating status, risks, and solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years developing data solutions with ETL Informatica, ideally v10.5.2.
- Strong Oracle expertise, including Oracle 19c and query performance optimization.
- Proven experience with data warehousing and OLTP architectures.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and stored procedure development.
- 5-10 years in Unix environments with solid shell scripting skills.
- Experience working in Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Demonstrable knowledge of relevant problem domains and production support practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
- Domain-driven design experience.
- Distributed systems background.
- Industry experience in Compliance or entity/transaction screening.
- Exposure to Java/J2EE technologies.
- Experience with Jira for Agile delivery.
- Hadoop familiarity.
