Seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with ability to work independently as well as be a team player. To Finance division of the New York office of a multinational financial services group based out of Spain.
Job Description:
- Guide and support lines of business and service owners to elicit and understand purchase requirements
- Assist to maintain the procurement plan. Accurate information in Workday
- Negotiate, analyze, and manage contracts throughout the contract lifecycle
- Analyzes bids for specification compliance, prices, delivery commitments and past performance
- Identify qualified suppliers. Build long-term relationships with vendors.
- Prepare and distribute RFP and/or RFQs to potential Offers
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely demand management for our constituents. Work closely with internal legal counsel and third party risk management teams.
- Identify procurement risks and issues, provide solutions, and recommend actions
- Execute supplier contracts and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure proper procurement and funded value, and billing.
- Maintain compliance with all policy and procedural guidelines
Qualifications:
- 5 years demonstrated Procurement/Sourcing experience
- Intimate knowledge of the S/P2P process and experience using ERP systems (Workday)
- Working knowledge of the RFP process
- Proficient with Google Suite (Email, Calendar, Drive, & Sheets)
- Analytical, with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Contract and price negotiation, as well as supplier management experience
- 4-year degree preferred
- Experience working in global teams across multiple regions, enabling a ‘one team’ culture and a positive working environment, while respecting cultures and capabilities across all locations
- Experience in the finance industry, working in a matrixed environment are preferred and Spanish proficiency is a plus.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $100,000 to $110,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
