What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Development Associate position at BBVA Global Wealth Advisors?
This role reports to the Corporate Development and Strategy Lead helping with the following:
Corporate Development
- Support the development of business plans and corporate strategy.
- Assess areas of opportunity and support the Business Development Head in the planning and implementation of change and innovation initiatives in line with the overall vision and strategy.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the operating model and team performance.
- Support management in developing comprehensive strategic plans and initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, employing proactive measures to maintain project success, including project coordination and execution..
Change Management
- Manage corporate development and change projects, including creating and maintaining workplans, tracking progress, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.
- Support Management with the design, planning and implementation of change projects and business initiatives.
Communications
- Lead the editorial strategy, increase and manage the media relationship and run our editorial calendar. Prepare monthly performance reports to management.
- Coordinate website updates, performance optimization, and technical improvements with developers.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Prior Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics preferred
- 2 years of experience in Project/change Management, Private Banking, Client Experience or related roles, in the Financial/Banking industry.
- Previous experience working for a consulting firm, a plus.
- Previous experience working for a Private Bank business servicing LatAm clients, including a deep understanding of the needs and expectations of high net-worth Clients.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills; ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in strategy planning and business development techniques.
- Experience in managing corporate social media, such as LinkedIn.
- Capacity to think strategically.
- Strong project management skills.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis and the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive decision-making and assess performance.
- Experience applying Artificial Intelligence and/or machine learning in a professional working environment.
- Fully bilingual (English-Spanish)
