What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Representative position at BBSI?
We’re hiring a true territory sales rep to grow our presence in the Boston market. This is a field-driven role focused on winning new business. If you’re not comfortable prospecting and opening doors, this won’t be a fit.
We are a wholesale distributor of welding filler metals, supplying contractors, fabricators, and industrial customers. Unlike traditional wholesalers, we sell direct to end users, giving you a real competitive advantage in the field.
- What you’ll do: Prospect and cold call daily to generate new business
- Develop and manage a territory across the greater Atlanta area
- Build relationships with fabricators, contractors, and industrial accounts
- Grow existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new ones
- Work independently and own your numbers
- What we’re looking for:3 years in welding or industrial distribution
- Existing relationships or book of business preferred
- Strong hunter mentality — you like the chase and closing deals
- Comfortable with cold calling and in-person selling
- Self-motivated and accountable
- Compensation: Base salary commission
- Uncapped earning potential
