Location: Utah County
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours weekly, including Pet Butler route service on applicable days of the week.
Current scooping workload: Approximately 4 to 5 hours weekly.
Compensation: $16-$18 depending on experience
Vehicle: Company Scoop truck provided for work, with take home privileges.
Reports to: Owner

About the position:
Love dogs, being outdoors, and working independently? Help us keep Utah County yards clean while spreading the word about Scoop Brothers. We are looking for a dependable, friendly person who takes pride in doing a thorough job and enjoys connecting with people. You will handle Pet Butler route service on applicable days of the week and spend the remaining weekly hours helping us grow through neighborhood outreach, customer care, and local business visits.

Provide excellent route service

• Complete residential and commercial pet waste removal stops safely, thoroughly, and on schedule.
• Review access instructions, gate codes, pet information, hazards, and special requests before entering each property.
• Inspect the entire service area systematically and remove all visible pet waste.
• Secure every gate and follow all pet safety instructions.
• Send service completion notices and document access problems, hazards, customer requests, or unusual conditions.
• Follow safety, sanitation, protective equipment, and waste disposal procedures.

Help grow the business

• Distribute approved door hangers and marketing materials in targeted neighborhoods, especially near existing customers.
• Place and maintain yard signs at approved locations with permission.
• Visit pet businesses and other local referral partners to introduce Scoop Brothers and deliver materials.
• Identify promising neighborhoods and opportunities to build efficient, closely grouped routes.
• Support customer thank you calls, review requests, and referral outreach.
• Assist with community events, event setup, and preparation of welcome bags or promotional materials.
• Record contacts, leads, customer feedback, and follow up needs for the owner and Growth Coordinator.

Keep the truck and equipment ready

• Clean, disinfect, inspect, and restock the company truck, tools, and supplies.
• Report maintenance needs, damage, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance while representing Scoop Brothers.
• Submit a brief record of hours, completed activities, service results, and leads generated.

What we are looking for

• Dependability, initiative, and the ability to work without constant supervision.
• Friendly, professional communication and willingness to introduce the business to potential customers and partners.
• Comfort working outdoors around dogs, pet waste, odors, uneven ground, and changing weather.
• Ability to walk, bend, lift supplies, and enter and exit a vehicle repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with gates, access instructions, and pet safety.
• Valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.
• Comfort using a smartphone for navigation, service notes, and customer communication.
• Availability for scheduled Pet Butler routes on applicable days of the week and agreed outreach hours.

Helpful experience
Route service, door-to-door sales, landscaping, delivery, property maintenance, pet care, customer service, neighborhood outreach, , or other independent outdoor work.

How success will be measured

• Service stops are completed on time and documented correctly.
• Gates and pet instructions are followed consistently.
• Customers receive thorough service with minimal complaints or repeat visits.
• The truck and tools remain clean, stocked, and ready.
• Assigned outreach activities are completed and recorded.
• Leads and customer opportunities are passed along promptly.
• All scheduled hours are used productively.
