Pet Butler and Community Outreach Technician

Location: Utah County
Schedule: 20-25 hours/ week, primarily Monday-Thursday, with occasional community events
Compensation: $18 depending on experience
Vehicle: Company Scoop truck provided for work, with take home privileges.
Reports to: Owner

About the position:
We are looking for an outgoing, organized, and self directed person who can help grow our local customer base. You will build community relationships, follow up with leads, develop referral partners, support local marketing, and keep opportunities moving forward. This is a hands on growth role for someone who enjoys meeting people, asking for business, and seeing their work produce measurable results.

What you will do

• Respond to residential and commercial leads promptly and follow a consistent contact schedule.
• Build relationships with HOAs, apartment communities, property managers, real estate professionals, pet businesses, landscapers, veterinarians, rescues, and other referral partners.
• Make outbound calls, send follow up emails, visit local businesses, attend networking meetings, and schedule presentations.
• Keep lead information, notes, next steps, and follow up dates current in the CRM.
• Create and schedule approved local social content and maintain a simple content calendar.
• Work with our local marketing firm to develop and execute campaigns that generate leads and grow the business.
• Support Google Business Profile activity, review requests, referrals, testimonials, and local visibility.
• Track where leads come from and help identify which activities should be continued, improved, or stopped.
• Prepare a short weekly update showing completed work, pipeline activity, results, next week's plan, and decisions needed from the owner.
  

What we are looking for

• Experience in sales, business development, community outreach, account coordination, marketing, or another customer facing role.
• Experience in social media and digital marketing, including content creation, campaign execution, and tracking results.
• Confident verbal and written communication, including the ability to walk into a business, make calls, ask for a meeting, and follow up professionally.
• Strong organization and comfort using email, calendars, spreadsheets, social platforms, and a CRM.
• Ability to plan your work, work independently, accept coaching, and consistently complete agreed
• priorities.
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally.
• Comfort working with pet owners, pet related businesses, and dogs.

Helpful experience

• Existing relationships or community knowledge in Utah County.
• Experience with home services, pet services, real estate, property management, local networking, or franchising.
• Experience with Google Business Profile, simple content tools, local SEO, email campaigns, or paid advertising support.

• Consistent outbound contacts, local visits, partner conversations, and commercial follow up.
• Fast, professional lead response and accurate CRM records with a clear next action.
• Steady local content, review requests, referral activity, and community visibility.
• Qualified opportunities, recurring customers, and referral relationships influenced by your work.
• Reliable weekly planning and reporting without repeated reminders.
