Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Catering Account Manager to lead our catering operations and foster strong client relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage catering events, oversee food service quality, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards of food safety and team leadership.
Duties
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of catering accounts, including menu planning, order fulfillment, and delivery logistics
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure repeat business
- Supervise catering staff, providing training on food preparation, presentation, and customer service standards
- Oversee inventory control for catering supplies and ingredients, ensuring proper stock levels and food safety compliance
- Ensure all catering events meet quality standards by supervising food production, presentation, and timely service
- Train staff on food handling, safety procedures, and hospitality best practices to enhance team performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or catering, with a strong background in restaurant or hospitality environments
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training, and development skills
- Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, kitchen management, inventory control, and food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle client inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple catering accounts simultaneously
- Previous experience in casual dining or banquet settings is highly desirable; hospitality management background is a plus
