GENERAL SUMMARY

To deliver and pick up the daily in town orders, properly and accurately maintain paperwork for each order.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Confirm the setup of the assigned daily route which includes rearranging any stop to meet deadlines, special pick up’s, closing times, etc.

· Ensure that all deliveries are properly loaded onto the trucks, so no delivery or part of a delivery is left behind.

· Communicate throughout the day to the shipping administrator(s) the daily activity as well as seek help for an unclear issue with the appropriate manager.

· Ensure that all deliveries and pickups are properly made (deliveries require a signature and a time while pick up’s require proper sorting, counting, tagging, bundling and issuing a linen return form (shortage, credit or damage) before leaving location.

· Report any and all mechanical or potentially unsafe hazards regarding trucks and driving conditions to any shipping manager immediately.

· Other duties as needed

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

· Valid Class C License

· Defensive driving/Safe driving (be conscious of surroundings at all times)

· Communication (ability to clearly communicate any and all issues to co workers, supervisors, managers, etc.)

· Map reading and organizational skills (ability to setup to meet priority stops necessary to complete the route accordingly)

· Decision making and problem-solving skills (ability to make sound decisions and find solutions for any problems confronted with on a daily basis)

· Customer service (ability to confidently greet and interact with all clients throughout the day.)

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of a high school diploma. With at least 1 year of experience in fast paced environment.

CONOCIMIENTO Y HABILIDADES REQUERIDAS

· Licencia valida de Clase C

· Manejo defensivo / manejo seguro (esté atento a los alrededores en todo momento)

· Comunicación (capacidad de comunicar claramente todos y cada uno de los problemas a compañeros de trabajo, supervisores, gerentes, etc.)

· Lectura de mapas y habilidades organizativas (capacidad de configuración para cumplir con las paradas prioritarias necesarias para completar la ruta en consecuencia)

· Habilidades para la toma de decisiones y la resolución de problemas (capacidad para tomar decisiones acertadas y encontrar soluciones a los problemas que se enfrentan a diario).

· Servicio al cliente (capacidad de saludar e interactuar con confianza con todos los clientes durante todo el día).

· Inglés conversacional

· Capacidad de trabajar con otros.

· Debe ser capaz de levantar hasta 50 libras

EDUCACION Y EXPERIENCIA

Preferible diploma de Escuela secundaria. Al menos un año de experiencia en ambiente de ritmo rápido.

Pay: $23.60 - $29.80 per hour
