Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Wealth Management to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring effective delivery of solutions aligned with wealth management processes, regulatory requirements, and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for wealth management platforms and initiatives
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
- Analyze existing systems and processes; identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Support data analysis related to portfolios, client reporting, and financial products
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as SEC, FINRA, and other financial governance frameworks
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions
- Create and maintain documentation including BRDs, FRDs, and process maps
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Wealth Management or Financial Services
- Strong understanding of wealth management concepts such as portfolio management, asset allocation, investment products, and client onboarding
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Excel, or similar
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wealth platforms such as Charles River, Aladdin, or similar
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and digital transformation projects
- Certifications such as CBAP, CFA (preferred but not mandatory)
