Entry-Level Client Associate Contract (Wealth Management)
Location: Chicago, IL (Downtown; Located in a historic building in the Loop)
Pay Range: Hourly Rate-$25 - $32/hour (This is equivalent to an annualized salary of $50,000 – $65,000 base ; commensurate with experience)
Position: On-Site, Mon-Fri
Anticipated Start Date – Immediate, ideally within the next few weeks.
This individual will play a critical role in delivering a seamless client experience and supporting advisors with day-to-day operations. The position offers valuable, hands-on exposure to financial planning, investment operations, and client relationship management within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
While initially structured as a short-term engagement, this role provides strong visibility into a long-term career path within wealth management, including potential progression into client service, paraplanning, or advisory roles depending on performance and firm needs.
Your Role & Responsibilities
What We’re Looking For (Required)

- Important - This is a 3 or 4-month contract role with the intention of evaluating long-term fit, with the potential to convert to a full-time position based on performance and team needs.

Your Role & Responsibilities
- Client Service & Relationship Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests (account maintenance, transfers, distributions, onboarding) o Deliver a high-touch, white-glove experience aligned with HNW/UHNW client expectations o Manage inbound client communications and proactively follow up on outstanding requests o Prepare and coordinate client meeting materials, including performance reports and presentations
- Operations & Account Management
- Open and maintain brokerage and advisory accounts (custodians such as Fidelity, Schwab, Fidelity)
- Process money movements, ACAT transfers, beneficiary updates, and required documentation
- Ensure accuracy and compliance across all client records and transactions
- Coordinate with custodians and internal operations teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Advisor & Team Support
- Support advisors in preparing for client meetings, including data gathering and analysis
- Maintain CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Redtail, Wealthbox) with accurate client notes and activities
- Assist in workflow management, pipeline tracking, and task prioritization
- Partner with senior team members on special projects and process improvements
- Growth & Development
- Participate in training toward industry licensing (SIE, Series 7, Series 66 – if applicable)
- Build foundational knowledge of financial planning, investments, and client service best practices
- Progress toward more client-facing responsibilities over time
What We’re Looking For (Required)
- 0–2 years of experience in financial services, banking, customer service, or operations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Preferred
- Internship or exposure to wealth management, RIAs, or brokerage environments o Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business, Economics preferred but not required) o Familiarity with CRM systems or financial platforms o Interest in pursuing securities licenses (SIE, Series 7/66)
- Highly responsive and reliable with client requests
- Strong attention to detail with minimal errors
- Proactive mindset (anticipates advisor and client needs)
- Coachable and eager to grow into expanded responsibilities
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
