Under the direct supervision of an Account Executive, the Account Coordinator focuses on executing all day-to-day tasks involving customer and carrier relationships. As a Senior Account Coordinator, you will be facilitating daily communication between carriers and customers, analyzing, and negotiating freight costs based on market trends, and screening carriers to find reliable and quality drivers. You will play a critical role in executing business for our customers by partnering with Account Executive’s to ensure customers’ needs are met.

You will play a critical role in executing business for our customers by partnering with Account Executive’s to ensure customers’ needs are met.
What you’ll be doing.
- Manage Account Executive’s day-to-day operations through constant communication with internal teams, customers, and carriers
- Navigate and update our homegrown TMS
- Conduct outbound check calls to ensure freight is moving effectively
- Analyze and negotiate freight rates based on current market trends
- Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls and field all customer inquiries regarding shipment status
- You are a self-motivated, adaptable go-getter who seeks out every opportunity to learn
- You have strong organizational and time management skills with ability to recognize and prioritize profitable opportunities
- Negotiate with confidence and a winning attitude
- You maintain composure in high-stress scenarios
- You have a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and innate drive
- You have flexibility in schedule to work after normal business hours and weekends
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
