PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: e.g. 65,000 - 75,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Ensure that outsourced providers meet the BBC operational requirements
- Manage overall contractual performance, seeking continuous improvement and value for money
- Management of financial projects
- Allocation of Finance staff to productions
- Responsible for weekly bank reconciliation
- Provide assurances to stakeholders on the resilience of the BBC's financial model
- Prepare the month end reporting
- Provide technical accounting and financial reporting
- Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of operational treasury and control environment
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies and strategies
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrable experience of project management, SAP, operation of financial reporting systems
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence
- Ability to take complex data/principles and to communicate these in an understandable way to the wider BBC team
- Knowledge and experience of regulatory requirements, accounting practices/guidelines and internal control mechanisms
- Professional accounting experience preferred e.g. BA Accounting or equivalent
