Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Estimator located in Indianapolis, IN. The Project Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, creating accurate cost estimates, and preparing bids and proposals. Key tasks include analyzing project specifications, collaborating with clients and internal teams, sourcing materials, and ensuring that estimates align with company standards. Maintaining professional relationships to ensure successful project outcomes is also a critical component of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in project estimation and cost analysis.
- Experience in working with pumps, boilers, and related equipment in commercial, industrial, or municipal settings.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client-relationship management abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and specialized estimation tools.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Relevant certifications in project estimation or a background in engineering, construction, or a related field are a plus.
