Under the supervision of the Corporate Controller, the Regional Controller – USA and LATAM, leads the region’s financial and accounting activities and provides strategic support. You’ll be closely involved in analyzing, controlling and monitoring accounting operations and ensuring their compliance, as well as managing personnel on Finance and Administration teams in the U.S., Chile and Peru.

- Ensure compiance with accounting standards and procedures
- Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regional regulatory requirements
- Be actively involved in implementing and optimizing processes
- Oversee the Finance and Administration team’s planning and deliverables
- Oversee all transactional processing, coding and posting activities
- Be responsible for the regional month-end closing process and ensure timely reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual analyses for Group-level consolidation
- Analyse financial data to support operational groups in their daily management and prepare various reports for budgets, key performance indicators and gap analyses
- Manage financial and budgetary planning, including the modelling process
- Approve and control costs
- Manage and control bank transactions, reconciliations and balances
- Prepare year-end procedures and support external year-end audits
- Track progress and profitability for certain projects
- Support ERP optimization to meet the firm’s evolving regional needs
- Actively participate in projects that advance the firm’s expansion in our new regions
- Mentor and supervise the Finance and Administration team, while driving engagement and professional development

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- University degree in accounting or business administration
- Hold the title of CPA or equivalent
- At least three to five years of experience in a similar position and ten years of professional experience in finance or accounting roles
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel
- Willing to travel internationally
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering professionals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Asset: experience working with international operations
- Asset: experience with one of the major accounting firms
- Asset: experience working in a service firm and knowledge of project-based accounting
- Asset: knowledge of Deltek – Maconomy Suite
