The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting Bayview’s financial operations and ensuring accuracy across accounting functions. This position provides support for accounts payable and receivable, performs the month-end close, and provides executive assistant support to the leadership team.
You’ll work closely with the CFO and accounting team to maintain organized financial systems, ensure timely processing of transactions, and contribute to a smooth month-end and year-end close process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable balancing recurring accounting tasks with occasional special projects.

You’ll work closely with the CFO and accounting team to maintain organized financial systems, ensure timely processing of transactions, and contribute to a smooth month-end and year-end close process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable balancing recurring accounting tasks with occasional special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for AP/AR data entry and reconciliation.
- Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Support administrative or executive tasks as assigned, related to Bayview’s regulatory compliance and risk management requirements.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality in all financial and administrative work.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and GAAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Highly reliable, organized, and discreet.
- Demonstrates professionalism, good judgment, and effective communication with colleagues and external partners.
- Comfortable providing support and clarity to peers when the CFO is unavailable.
