Park Services Crew - Big Dam Water Park

As a member of the Park Services Crew, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the park by patrolling designated areas, sweeping, cleaning the restrooms and running trash pickups along with other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

• Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor while working and interacting with or around guests.
• Monitor designated areas and ensure its overall cleanliness.
• Work with minimal supervision and work proactively.
• Sweep main pathways and clear trash and debris from garden beds, fence lines or other off beaten paths.
• Empty trash cans before they reach their maximum capacity.
• Mop floors, clean stalls/urinals, wipe down counters and stock restrooms.
• Place hazard signs when needed.
• Patrol the parking lots before and after operation and clear it of ALL trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

• Problem Solving Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Communication Great each and every guest in a warm and inviting manor and communicate with supervisor on progress or to fill downtime. Ask for assistance when needed.
• Planning/ Organizing Fill downtime with appropriate tasks; and work in an efficient manor.
• Quality Control Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work; look for ways to improve and promote quality; and able to monitor own work for quality assurance.
• Dependability Follows instructions and responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; complete task on time or notifies supervisor with an alternate plan and timeline; consistently at work and on time for scheduled shift; and ensure responsibilities are covered when absent.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 15 years of age or older 
• Ability to reach, bend & walk for long-periods of time while able to move around the work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Friendly, responsible, and attentive demeanor.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
