Assistant BookkeeperBaystate Interpreters is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and update ledgers with daily transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and submit tax documents in compliance with regulations.
- Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors regarding invoices and payments.
- Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks as needed.

- Associate's degree or similar experience in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
