Responsibilities
- Answering phones
- Taking reservations
- Helping guest fill out all necessary rental paperwork.
- Administering a state mandated Jet Ski Quiz for drivers.
- Manage check - ins & time efficiently. to ensure tours start promptly and run smoothly within scheduled ride times.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding groups confidently, especially during challenging situations or emergencies
- helping guest pick proper life vests.
- Communicating with outside guides to ensure tours start promptly and run smoothly within scheduled ride times.
Qualifications
- Excellent at multitasking and great with numbers. Fast paced environment
- Trustworthy for daily closing operations. Strong customer service.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide groups confidently
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills for clear instructions
- Prior experience in customer service or teaching roles is highly desirable
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Knowledge of water safety practices and Jet Ski / Pontoon Boat operation is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- You will need to get a Maryland Boating Safety Certificate online. $25
- You will need to attend a Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources safety training. Free
- You will need to have or attend a CPR, basic first Aid, & Stop the bleed class. Free
- Must be able to work long shifts (9-11 hrs)
