ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting, assisting, and engaging members and guests throughout the facility.
- Maintain an active presence on the fitness floor to promote member safety, exercise adherence, and positive member experiences.
- Assist members with proper equipment use, exercise techniques, and general fitness questions within the scope of practice.
- Support new member orientations, fitness assessments, Wellness Quest appointments, and other fitness services as assigned.
- Monitor fitness areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, safety, and compliance with facility policies.
- Assist with equipment upkeep by identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
- Promote fitness center programs, services, wellness initiatives, and special events.
- Participate in member engagement activities, wellness programs, and facility-wide events.
- Maintain knowledge of current fitness industry standards, exercise guidelines, and facility offerings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Promotion, or related field preferred.
- Nationally recognized fitness certification preferred (ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, or equivalent).
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
- Knowledge of exercise science principles, equipment operation, and safe exercise techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate proper exercise form and equipment use.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels.
- Dependable, professional, and team oriented.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and fitness-related software systems preferred.

Salary : $37,789 - $59,834
