Role Overview:
The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision support for business leaders. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Sales, HR, and Finance—to deliver clear insights, accurate financial models, and data-driven recommendations that support strategic and operational objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an agile, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning and forecasting cycles , including monthly, quarterly, and annual planning activities.
Build and maintain robust financial models to support scenario analysis, budgeting, long-range planning, and business case development.
Partner with business stakeholders to provide data-driven insights into performance trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
Prepare and deliver clear, concise financial reports and executive-level presentations.
Conduct deep-dive analysis on headcount, operating expenses, revenue drivers, product performance, and investment ROI.
Support cross-functional decisions by evaluating new initiatives, resource allocations, partnerships, and operational changes .
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of financial data across systems and reporting tools.
Collaborate with Accounting teams during monthly/quarter-end close to validate expenses, accruals, and key financial entries.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate reporting , and enhance financial analysis tools.
Assist with internal controls, compliance requirements, and audit support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA/CFA a plus.
3–6 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or strategy within tech or global organizations.
Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets , financial modeling, and analytical tools; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) preferred.
Solid understanding of financial statements, forecasting methodologies, and key operational metrics.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities with attention to detail.
Experience with large tech companies, SaaS, or high-growth environments is an advantage.
