We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Staff/Handyman to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
- Conduct repairs using welding techniques, mechanical knowledge, and schematics to restore functionality efficiently.
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
- Assist with residential painting projects to enhance property aesthetics and upkeep.
- Manage facilities maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance history.
- Supervise or coordinate with contractors or team members during complex repair projects or renovations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident or staff repair requests promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Skilled in welding techniques and capable of performing basic carpentry or painting tasks.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams fluently.
- Proficiency with testing instruments such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Supervising experience is preferred for leadership opportunities within the team.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and residents.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
