Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our dynamic team. As a Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the day and night shifts. This role requires a strong commitment to hospitality and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering inquiries and providing information on hotel services and policies.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accurate room assignments and handling any discrepancies.
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage the hotel's phone systems, answering and directing calls as needed.
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling room charges, preparing nightly reports, and conducting physical counts of cash and property.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and surrounding public spaces.
- Provide administrative support to hotel management and other departments as needed.
- Utilize excellent communication and customer service skills to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of hotel operations and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment, preferably as a front desk clerk or night auditor.
- Proven customer service skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
