Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a background in hospitality management, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. Job consists of (2) 3pm-11pm shifts and (2) 11pm-7am shifts. WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS ARE MANDATORY - as the hospitality industry is open and available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Reliability is a must for this position!
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage phone systems, responding to inquiries and reservations promptly.
- Conduct night audits, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and reconciled.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to guests.
- Handle guest complaints or requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain front desk operations, including managing room assignments and key distribution.
- Ensure the lobby area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform night audit duties accurately and efficiently.
