Location: MOB - Cardiology, Neuro/Cardiac Surg, Women’s Ctr and DI

Status: Full Time 80 Hours per pay period

Shift: Days; 8am-4:30pm; no weekends or holidays!

SALARY RANGE: 32.81 BOE, HOURLY

General Summary:

Provides professional nursing care to patients within a Physician’s Practice. Professional nursing practices, requiring specialized knowledge, critical thinking, judgment, and skill are performed in accordance with practice policy, procedure, and philosophy.

Responsibilities:

• Restores and promotes patient’s health by completing nursing process
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Accurately and completely records all required data in the medical record and departmental database
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
• Use advanced communication skills with all levels of internal and external customers
• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and profession standards
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team problem-solving methods.
• All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities
  
  

Required Education, Credential(s) and Experience:

• Education: Associate Degree; Nursing; Or Nursing Diploma.
• Credential(s): Basic Life Support, Registered Nurse.
• Experience: At least two years clinical nursing experience in a physician practice, hospital, or other medical specialized environment.
  
  

Preferred Education, Credential(s) and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor Degree; Nursing.
• Credential(s): ACLS.
• Experience: Three or more years in a physician practice or hospital setting.
